Born in S.Vito al Tagliamento (PN), Italy, 1978. Lives and works in Berlin.

The work of Federico Maddalozzo centres on analysis of the perception and identity of pure colour, often focusing on the individual and uncertain character of vision. He prefers light materials – paper products, piles of sheets, Pantone colour samples, aluminium – and it is his habit to intervene directly in space. Maddalozzo hides the structure and weight of the forms from the gaze, concentrating our attention on the perimeter and surface of objects.
