The artist’s rotating landscapes ideally whirl and blend the images proposed in this exhibition, forcing them to bring themselves into question. Like windmills gone haywire, the structures symbolize movement while remaining absolutely still. In this group show the sculptures of Stefano Mandracchia underline an important aspect of the concept on which the project is based: from one passage to the next, the signs utilized by the artists undergo a continual updating of meaning.
