Born in Rome (1973).  Lives and works in Rome and New York.

References to classical culture spring up with a domino effect. Homer’s Odyssey and Iliad could not fail to surface in this prodding of the roots of Western culture. Engaged in an investigation of the transformation of material seen as a protean continuum, Paolo W. Tamburella turns his attention to paper, a medium viewed for centuries as a vehicle of culture, here considered in a state of equilibrium between its material nature and its now archetypal function.
