The study carried out by Nicola Toffolini into human interference in the normal dynamics of nature translates into a series of pictures in which the vegetation appears to have been dissected by a sharp line, or into installations that consist of claustrophobic settings which echo the conflict between the ambition of controlling the forces of nature and a fatalistic resignation to the insecurity of the human condition.
