There is much to learn about the color, rules can’t make up and only the application can teach. You will study how far these colors and shades are valuable to imitate the life and color of human flesh.

Riccardo Crespi gallery presents Barbecue, a solo show by the Italian artist Eugenia Vanni.

The title of the show refers ideally to the concept of meeting, an excuse for a moment of sharing in which outlines of things could be redefined.

Eugenia Vanni’s practice, although deeply rooted in Italian tradition, arise from a direct and profound analysis of artistic techniques in relation to current events.

The artist uses drawing, painting, printmaking, video, photography and installation to create a routine where she can experiment new ways: these devices add meanings to the work and become an opportunity to further investigate the expressive possibilities that are offered.
